A 69-year-old school employee was arrested Thursday afternoon in Williamsburg on charges of having sexual contact with a minor.
Police sources told the Daily News that Jesus Lorenzo was fondling a 13-year-old girl with Downs Syndrome in De Hostos playground next to I.S. 318, where he works as a teacher’s assistant. Lorenzo was arrested on charges of forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual conduct with an individual less than 17.
The NYPD is investigating whether Lorenzo was previously acquainted with the student.
