A body found by two bystanders in the Charles River Tuesday has been identified as Zachary Marr, a 22-year-old who has been missing since mid-February, authorities said.

He was found near the Museum of Science Tuesday evening, police said.

Marr, of Harvard, Mass., was last seen leaving the Bell in Hand Tavern last month after spending time with friends.

"The Massachusetts State Police extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Marr," said Dave Procopio, director of media communications for Massachusetts State Police.

According to the Boston Herald a police marine unit has recovered the body.
