Boston court evacuated due to bomb threat

A Boston court was evacuated after authorities received a bomb threat.

Police said that the bomb squad responded to a threat made Monday against the Boston Municipal Court, Foxreported.

Authorities arrived at the 24 New Chardon St. location after receiving the phoned-in threat around 10:40 a.m., according to NECN.

Dozens of people were standing outside the courthouse at midday as authorities investigated at the location, Fox added. Shortly after noon they were allowed to go back inside the courthouse.
