Police caught a trio of teens who now stand accused of robbing someone using BB guns Saturday night.

The robbery occurred in the area of Columbus Avenue and West Rutland Square around 10:10 p.m. Police were told the trio robbed someone at gunpoint while wearing face masks before fleeing on foot along the Southwest Corridor towards Mass Ave. All of the suspects were wearing dark clothing. Two were carrying backpacks. Police soon found three suspects matching the description of the robbers near 333 Mass Ave.

The three suspects — ages 15, 15 and 13 — are expected to appear in Boston Juvenile Court on charges of armed assault with intent to rob.

Police recovered two face masks as well as a AK-47-styled BB gun and a semiautomatic handgun-styled BB gun.
