Christmas Day home invaders arrested in Eastie

Three men from Lynn are due in court Monday for their role in an alleged Christmas morning armed home invasion in East Boston. Police said Jose Ventura, 23, Jeremy Ventura, 20, and Francisco Ramirez, 33, forced their way into an apartment on Saratoga Street around 6:30 a.m. on Friday. One carried a bat, another a 4-inch folding knife, according to a police report.

Home invasion, attack in Dorchester

In another alleged home invasion, three armed suspects wearing masks broke into a Dorchester residence Saturday night, police said. The suspects were described as white men in their 20s or 30s wearing dark clothing carryinga handgun, a knife and brass knuckles, according to a police report. The trio fled before officers arrived and a victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said. There were no reports of items being stolen, police said.
