Thursday night rain showers will give way to snow fall overnight, which may lead to a messy commute Friday morning.
The National Weather Service forecasted less than one inch before 11 a.m. Friday, with a slight chance of rain Friday afternoon. Though it won’t be the first Boston snowfall of the season – the first was Nov. 2 – it will be the first snowfall to affect commuters on a work day. “I’d say the biggest impact is probably going to be the [Interstate]-95, [Route] 128 corridor. “The morning commute, especially coming in from the west, probably won’t be a whole lot of fun. [It] could even be icy,” weather service meteorologist Alan Dunham told The Boston Globe.
