Boston Police said a video obtained Tuesday morning contains new evidence placing a missing man from Harvard near the Charles River Dam the night he disappeared.

Crews have been searching waterways for 22-year-old Zachary Marr since he went missing Feb. 13. He was last seen at Boston’sBell in Hand Tavern. A dive team continued that effort on Tuesday in the Charles River near Nashua Street.

The Boston Globefirst reported on the new evidenceTuesday. Police Commissioner William Evans told the Globe the footage “shows a male heading toward the water and disappearing” under the Zakim Bridge, a half-mile walk from the Faneuil Hall bar.

“We believe that is him. It’s a sad case,” Evans told the paper.

Police previously confirmed the existence of the footage for Metro, but a spokeswoman said she could not describe its contents.
