The weekend is upon us, and the MBTA is planning a few disruptions.

The Green Line will suspend service between Park Street and Haymarket in both directions at 8:45 p.m. until closing on Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday night as construction crews prepare for the new Government Center Station opening.

People wanting to go west beyond Haymarket should transfer to the Forest Hills-bound Orange Line at either North Station or Haymarket. Then transfer back onto the Green Line at Downtown Crossing, head down the Winter Street Concourse to Park Street.

Eastbound passengers looking to go passed Park Street should transfer to the Oak Grove-bound Orange Line at Downtown Crossing. Get off at Haymarket or North Station to get back on the Green Line.

Blue Line passengers headed westbound on the Green Line should transfer at State Street.

The Red Line will have busses running between Kendall/MIT, Charles/MGH and Park Street on Friday night until Sunday. Construction crews will be working on the Longfellow Bridge.
