Connecticut man busted with 185 grams of coke

Sekou Walford, of Hartford, Conn. was pulled over by Massachusetts State Police after they observed several driving violations while traveling east of Route 84 near Sturbridge at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, officials said.

When cops pulled over the over the 2007 Acura TL after they “located” a small amount of cocaine and five pounds of weed inside the car, according to a release on the state police website.

Police charged Walford, 33, with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, following too closely, failing to stay within marked lanes and failing to signal.

Sturbridge and State Police later searched the car and found 185 grams of cocaine. Charges of trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug law were tacked on to Walford’s docket, police said.

Walford was taken to the Sturbridge barracks and held on $10,000 bail
