A construction worker in Plymouth County died after after a circular saw he was using suddenly kicked back and struck him in the throat, authorities said.
Investigators saidthat Jason Sanderson, 28, and another worker were in a hole cutting a water pipe in Duxburywhen the accident happened Saturdayafternoon.
Sanderson was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
State Police and officials from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
Authorities do not suspect foul play.
