A JetBlue flight spotted a drone while approaching Logan Airport Friday — the second such sighting in a week.

The incident happened at about 12 p.m. Friday as the flight was coming from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, reports said. The plane landed safely.

According to WHDH, on Christmas day an Air Canada flight also spotted a drone as it was approaching Logan. It is reportedly illegal to fly a drone within five miles of the airport or over 400 feet in the air.

During both sightings, the drone was at 800 feet and two miles or less from the airport, WHDH reported.

The FAA is investigating the JetBlue incident.
