‘Jersey Shore’ premiere: Italy gets smushed

How does The Situation end up on a stretcher? Who is Sammi kissing? Will Deena ever find true love?

These are the questions that have been burning inside us since MTV started running promos of season four of “The Jersey Shore.” Italy gets smushed and we can’t wait to see it. The cast ventured to Florence for this season, which premiers tonight at 10 pm on MTV.

“I think Thursday night you’re going to see that there are two different story lines that are going to unfold that no one is going to see coming and they are the two story lines that make this season completely crazy,” Jersey Shore producer Sally Salsano told Zap2it earlier this week.

You know it’s going to be a good season when Snooki rams the back of a police car in Florence, Italy, injuring two officers, during filming. Oh, Snooki! We can’t wait to see what you do next!

How will real Italians react to the cast who have undoubtedly set off some not-so-flattering stereotypes about Italians? Will they be well received? We doubt it will make a difference to the cast one way or another, who will be fist-pumping their way through the cobblestone streets of Florence.

T-shirt time, GTL and everything in between, this season promises to be the most dramatic yet, and that’s saying a lot. You know you’re going to watch.
