Tuesday gossip roundup: Miley Cyrus wants to talk to your kids about sex

Singer Miley Cyrus arrives at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 20.

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are definitely engaged, when they actually tie the knot is still up in the air, Pitt explained while speaking at a press conference in Cannes, according to USA Today. “We have no date. We actually, really, truly have no date,” Pitt said. “I hope we figure out marriage equality in the States before that date.” Jolie had originally insisted that she and Pitt would not get married until it was legal for gays and lesbians in the U.S. to do so as well.

Katy Perry‘s fledging romance with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd is over, according to Us Weekly. “It wasn’t that serious,” a source says. “It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they’ll talk soon.” Perry and Ackroyd started dating about a month ago, and were first spotted together at the Coachella music festival. “No hard feelings,” another source explains. “She’s really busy and so is he.”

Prince William admits he didn’t get much rest the night before his wedding last year. “[The crowds] were singing and cheering all night long, so the excitement of that, the nervousness of me and everyone singing — I slept for about half an hour,” William says in an interview with ITV for a documentary about his grandmother, the Queen. And as for his destiny of eventually taking the throne as King of England, he admits he’s resigned to his fate. “There’s not much wriggle room left for me to try and find my own path, but I will do. It’s just a matter of learning what’s gone before me,” William says.

Kristen Stewart has a problem: Nothing bad ever happens to her. “Maybe because my life is so f—ing perfect, when I see the other side of life, it just seems like, almost like I want [it]. You can learn so much from bad things. I feel boring,” Stewart tells Elle magazine. “I feel like, Why is everything so easy for me? I can’t wait for something crazy to f—ing happen to me. Just life. I want someone to f— me over.”

Nineteen-year-old former Disney star Miley Cyrus thinks frank discussions about sex shouldn’t be off-limits for kids. “Girls who base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad, because sex is actually really beautiful,” she says during an interview for “the Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet” this week. “It’s ignorant to not talk to your kids about it or make it seem like it’s not as cool or magical as it actually is. If [kids] have a TV, they know what sex is. Everyone knows, so educate them. Let them know that they wouldn’t be here without it, and it is a beautiful thing, and it is magic, and it is when you connect with somebody and it isn’t how much your worth.”

The John Travolta sexual assault allegations are taking a strange turn, with lawyers on the side of the accusers now fighting with each other. Okorie Okorocha, the lawyer who originally represented the first John Does to accuse Travolta of unwanted sexual advances, is now suing Gloria Allred, claiming she is stealing his clients, according to Hollyscoop. “Mr. Okorocha’s lawsuit will be met with a counterclaim for defamation,” Allred says in a statement. “The facts are the facts. Doe No. 1 and Doe No. 2 contacted me seeking representation, and we have the evidence to prove it. Mr. Okorocha’s lawsuit will be dismissed, and we will ultimately recover a judgment against him.
