There is s’more fun to be had

Tamo has the deluxe s’mores fixings.

Summer is slipping away and a delicious chill is creeping in, perfect for toasting s’mores by Aragosta’s glowing firepits. This wraparound patio on Battery Wharf has a lounge section with cushioned couches — and firepits! Its s’mores menu includes deluxe fixings: Graham crackers,  marshmallows, Reeses, Hershey’s, bananas and unsweetened peanut butter.

Before that fun stuff, Aragosta’s menu merges lighter bites with heartier dishes: A wafer-thin flatbread crust spread with simply rendered  tomato is topped with thick slices of ahi tuna crudo drizzled with truffled mayonnaise.

Henrietta’s  Table offers s’mores made with perky Somerville-based Taza chocolate. It’s all ready to go, served warm in a skillet. Set in peaceful Charles Square, the patio at Henrietta’s Table, Henrietta’s Porch, swaps city bustle for the gentler ebb and flow of a town square.

At this farm-to-table original, a wild sockeye salmon steak is cooked just through to retain its juicy succulence and is topped with a summer peach salsa. Ale-braised barbecued pulled lamb with beans and greens adds richer flavors.

Tamo’s kitchen also serves its s’mores baked, all sticky-sweet and topped with vanilla ice cream. Before that treat, enjoy an omega 3-rich tuna and salmon tartar duo, each silky with oils and topped with creamed avocado. Or try denser flavored Surf ‘n’ Turf ribs with lusciously fatty beef in a delicately sweet sauce paired with grilled pacu, a dense white fish. Or how about one last lobster roll packed with chunks of lobster meat in a tarragon and lemon aioli? Chomp it down while seagulls cackle overhead.

If you go

With summer’s stifling heat and humidity eased, it’s the perfect time to eat outside on these pretty terraces.
