Playing the Field: Beyonce cleavage prop bet disputed, Gronk dances injured (again)

Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show
Disturbing lack of cleavage.

Last week at Playing the Field, we highlighted many of the prop bets that would be available to degenerates from sea to shining off-shore sea on Super Bowl Sunday.
Here’s one retroactive one everyone will enjoy: “Will Beyonce show cleavage when she first appears on stage?”
Now, jog your memory a bit. You remember plenty of skin from Mrs. Carter on Sunday. Lots of leg. Lots of chestbone. Lots of, yes, cleavage.
But the bet was for the BEGINNING of the FIRST song and, come to find out, Beyonce was NOT showing cleavage in the first song. She most definitely still had on her lady-like Batwoman gear at that point.
Defining cleavage is tricky, but that’s all in the risk of this bet. You know the books are going to be conservative, so you’d be better off saying ‘No’ on this one, even if next year’s halftime performance features the HBO full-frontal duet of Katie Morgan and Lena Dunham.
Despite the fact that Beyonce did not show any cleavage right before she belted out, “Love on Top,” you still had complaints to the books, most notably from “Jacob,” who I would hope resides in Las Vegas. An addict like this needs a home. This is real, folks:

Subject: Beyoncé Prop Grading Issue
Hello, account #798579. I’m inquiring about ticket #099999-8, the description of which was: Super Bowl XLVII – Beyoncé – Beyoncé – Will she be showing cleavage first song – Yes -500
This wager was graded as a loss, and I’m having a hard time understanding why. Cleavage is defined as:
“The hollow between a woman’s breasts, especially as revealed by a low neckline.”
While Mrs. Knowles-Carter did not appear to immediately be displaying cleavage when she was first shown at the beginning fo the halftime show, she quite clearly was shortly afterward, which was still during the first song. I DVRed the game, and can provide photo evidence of this if deemed necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
Jacob

Summer of Gronk begins in February

The Patriots told Rob Gronkowski to tone it down a bit last year when the Summer of Gronk began to get out of control.
Well, we all know an injured Gronk becomes restless and he simply needs to suplex his friends on stage at Las Vegas clubs to live. Here is Gronk’s latest incident that scared the crap out of the Patriots:

Just like Gronk to be injured blocking on an extra point, but suplexing your buddy on a hard stage while (likely) hammered? Just fine.

Interestingly enough, Gronk made headlines EXACTLY one year ago today for taking his shirt off and dancing on his injured ankle after the Pats lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.
