VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel takes Obamacare vs. Affordable Care Act survey
When late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel decided to ask Americans to weigh in on the new health care reform law that took effect Tuesday, most people said they prefer the Affordable Care Act over Obamacare.
What they don’t realize is that they are the same thing.
“So you think the Affordable Care Act is more affordable than Obamacare?” one man is asked.
“Just the name says it all,” he replies.
Recent polls suggest the dual names for the same plan are causing mass confusion.
Twenty-nine percent of the public supports Obamacare, compared with 22 percent who support the Affordable Care Act, a CNBC poll found. Meanwhile, 46 percent oppose Obamacare and 37 percent oppose the Affordable Care Act.
The only bright side: Watching these people talk about the “differences” between the two plans is pretty funny to watch.
