Here are your best bets onstage this week if you want to escape the same-old, same-old or catch a closing play before it’s gone.

OPENING

‘Romeo and Juliet’

The new Broadway production of “Romeo and Juliet” begins opens this Thursday at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, starring Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad. ‘Women or Nothing’

Filmmaker and playwright Ethan Coen’s first full-length production opens at the Atlantic Theater Company tomorrow. Tickets are on sale at www.atlantictheater.org.

It’s your last chance to see “The Cheaters Club,” written and directed by Derek Ahonen. This show, closing Saturday, is about a group of friends who get out of town once a year to exorcise their sexual demons. Tickets are on sale at www.abronsartscenter.org.
