Despite dying in 2010, author J.D. Salinger is still making headlines. After a buzzworthy summer thanks to a new biography and documentary on the writer, new never-published stories have recently been found on eBay of all places. An unlisted eBay user posted a PDF of a paperback book called “Three Stories,”  said to have been written by Salinger in 1999.

USA Today reported that one of the stories, titled “The Ocean Full of Bowling Balls,” is rumored to be Salinger’s best work and a precursor to “Catcher in the Rye,” but Salinger didn’t want it to be published until 2060. Reddit reported that the book up for bid on eBay was the sixth of only 25 copies printed.

This all may sounds bogus, but Kenneth Slawenski, who wrote the Salinger biography “JD Salinger: A Life,” told Buzzfeed that the scans appear to be of the true manuscripts.

The auction closed with a winning bid of 67.50 British pounds, or about $110.15.
