The authors of “The Hunger Pains” and “Bored of the Rings” are at it again.

Humor magazine The Harvard Lampoon just released its new book, this time targeting “The Hobbit.” “The Wobbit” (on sale now) follows Aaron Sorkinshield and his army of Little People on a journey across Widdle Wearth to steal back their Academy Awards, which were stolen by Puff the Magic Dragon.

The magic here is quite obviously the play on words, which will have “Hobbit” fans chuckling from beginning to end. Instead of encountering trolls, wobbit Billy Bagboy faces Internet trolls, along with moblins and spiders.

Experience the punchlines in person Dec. 12 when The Harvard Lampoon will be doing a special Q&A and reading. The event will be at The Harvard Coop (1400 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge) at 7 p.m. Get there early as seats are sure to fill up fast!
