Miley Cyrus to host SNL

We can’t stop and we won’t stop talking about Miley Cyrus. Not a moment of this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” will deviate from the diva; she is both the host and the musical guest. She hosted back in 2011, but speculations indicate this will be a very different performance.

Hollywood Life claims that Cyrus will incorporate pregnancy rumors and twerking into her monologue—nothing we didn’t already expect. Cast members may dress up as the bears from her VMA performance. The touchy subject of ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth would certainly be approached “for comedy’s sake,” a source tells Hollywood Life.

This week’s feud with Sinead O’Connor thrust Cyrus into headlines again, so we expect to see some references to that. She lashed out on Twitter in response to O’Connor’s open letter, which expressed concern that Cyrus is being pimped by the music industry. This comes after we were finally coming to terms with Cyrus’s behavior; she offered some explanations in an hour-long MTV documentary “Miley: The Movement” on Oct. 2.

But what about the rest of SNL? Will she take a shot with Drunk Uncle? Will she have an awkward encounter on Vanessa Bayer’s “The Miley Cyrus Show?” Everything is kept under wraps, but the promos prove that Cyrus has no problem making fun of herself.
