‘Hannibal’

This thriller-horror series follows the adventures (or misadventures) of Hannibal Lecter before he became Anthony Hopkins (or at least before the actor portrayed him in “The Silence of the Lambs.”) This time around, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen plays the murdering cannibal, and he’s just as scary as Mr. Hopkins.

Friday 10 P.M., NBC

‘Saturday Night Live’

Comedian Louis C.K. will host this episode of “SNL,” so let’s hope he’ll bring some of the awkward moments from his TV show ‘Louie’ with him. English singer-songwriter Sam Smith will be performing. He’s best known for being featured on Naughty Boy’s smash hit ‘La La La’ last year.

Saturday 11.30 P.M., NBC

‘Lindsay’

The public gets an honest view of Lindsay Lohan’s life after her sixth stay in rehab in this docu-series she’s filming for Oprah. In Sunday’s episode she’s visiting Jimmy Fallon to do a sketch for his show, and her sober coach doesn’t know if she’s actually staying so.

Sunday 10 P.M., OWN

‘The Good Wife’

After last weeks shocker (we won’t spoil it here for those who haven’t seen it yet), Alicia (Julianna Margulies) tries to makes sense of the tragedy that just happened. Meanwhile Diane (Christine Baranski) has to deliver the bad news to the company’s partners.

Sunday 9 P.M., CBS

‘Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey’

Thirty-four years ago the first season of “Cosmos” impressed audiences everywhere. Now Ann Druyan, the widow of the original creator Carl Sagan, is bringing back the show with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson as host. Sunday, the journey goes back to 1809.
