Matthew Morrison, who stars on “Glee,” as teacher Will Schuester, is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Renee Puente.

Morrison’s friend Elton John was the one who made the happy news public. He took the stage last night at his White Tie and Tiara Ball in London to announce the couple’s engagement, then invited Coldplay singer Chris Martin onstage for a duet of “Your Song,” which he dedicated to Morrison and Puente, according to E! Online.

It’ll be hard to top that at the wedding.

This is the first marriage for both Morrison and Puente. Morrison was previously engaged to Chrishell Stause, but they broke things off in 2007.

Earlier this year “Glee” star Cory Monteith checked himself into rehab, according to Us Weekly. “Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction,” his rep says in a statement.

“He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” While it isn’t clear what substances exactly Monteith is looking for help avoiding, he has opened up about his drug use in the past, telling Parade magazine in 2011 that he used to do “anything and everything, as much as possible. I had a serious problem.” The latest rehab stint has caught friends and family off-guard. “This is a total surprise,” a source tells the magazine. “He has always been very honest about how he struggled.”
