The Word: Amanda Seyfried’s lady parts are very opinionated

Hey, ladies. Amanda Seyfried has some advice on romance for you: When you meet that special someone, listen to your heart. It will know right away.

Oh, wait. Not your heart.

“Everybody I’ve dated I’ve been sexually attracted to immediately,” she tells Elle. “Sparks don’t grow—your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.”

Well, maybe some vaginas just don’t know their own minds like the one Amanda is blessed to have. Her vagina probably never holds up the line at Starbucks deciding between a latte and an espresso, either. And it probably never switched its major.

Amanda Seyfried and “Star Trek Into Darkness” star Chris Pine are set to co-star in an upcoming film adaptation of the young adult post-apocalyptic book “Z for Zachariah,” according to Variety. Seyfried will play a young woman who runs a farm, believing herself to be the last survivor of a nuclear apocalypse, until Pine’s character turns up. They’ll join Chewitel Ejiofor in the film, which is set to begin production later this summer.

Presumably this is one of those nuclear apocalypses that either kills you or turns you into an impossibly beautiful specimen of blondness. I hate those.
