The Word: ‘Old creep’ on track to sniff Taylor Swift’s hair

Win a chance to meet Taylor Swift! Seriously. Please. Win it, somebody. Otherwise something real creepy is going to happen.

Boston radio station KISS 108 is holding a contest to find Taylor Swift’s #1 fan. The winner will receive two tickets to her upcoming concert, and will also get a chance to meet Taylor.

Most of the entrants are presumably 12-year-old girls. But one, Charles Z., is not, as his friend posted on the message board 4Chan.

“My creepy 39 year old friend named Charles would like to crush all those girls dreams (and then sniff Taylor Swifts hair cuz he’s into that), by winning this instead,” he said, according to E! Online. “Help him crush the dreams of these girls and give him a chance to make a complete ass of himself by blatantly just sniffing her hair with cameras rolling.”

4Chan users was on the case: They rigged up auto-voting software that rocketed Mr. Z. to first place. However, the contest rules do allow the station to disqualify contestants for irregular voting, so hopefully Mr. Z will have to settle for sniffing the blonde mane of one of his My Little Ponies.

Besides, the contest doesn’t end until July 21. There’s still time to put Charles Z. in his place. Maybe one of those little girls is a master hacker.
