The Word: Andy Dick’s crazy Hamptons weekend

Say what you will about Andy Dick, but at least he’s consistent. Presumably you don’t invite him to your party unless you want him to get very wasted, hit on everyone in sight and cause some minor property damage.

The former “Newsradio” star reportedly did all that and more last weekend in the Hamptons. Dick had pledged to remain sober while he appeared on “Dancing with the Stars,” but now that he’s been eliminated it’s back to his old ways, according to Page Six. He reportedly turned up very intoxicated at a party with no cell phone or wallet and no idea where he was staying. After a fellow party guest agreed to allow him to crash at her place, Dick grabbed the steering wheel of her car, groped her and her husband, and, after the exasperated couple drove him back to the party they’d rescued him from, asked if he could borrow $20.

Dick wasn’t done: Sources say the next day he crashed a Beach Magazine party and peed in a bush.

Apparently, the comedian’s antics don’t stop his friends from wanting to work with him. Not only does Pauly Shore want to do a sequel to “In the Army Now”, but he already has the plot in mind for a follow-up to the 1994 film.

“I’ve always said we should do ‘In the Army Again,’” he said during an interview for Dick’s radio show. “We should rescue Katy Perry from a USO show gone bad or something.”
