The Word: Is this J.J. Abrams’ ‘Star Wars’ script?
Oh, J.J. Abrams. Don’t you know it’s not nice to tease the nerds?
Of course Abrams, producer of “Lost” and director of such films as “Star Trek Into Darkness,” is no stranger to nerd-baiting. Maybe that’s why his production company Bad Robot tweeted the above image with the tantalizing caption, “Hot off the presses. Can you guess what’s behind the cover? #FoundAtBR #MysteryScript.”
Since Abrams is slated to direct “Star Wars Episode VII,” that is definitely my guess. What’s my prize if I’m right? Can I come hang out on set? I promise not to hug Carrie Fisher too many times. Just a lot of times.
It seems like it’s not just the Force that’s strong with the Skywalker family: There’s also a weakness for sweets.
Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have both been tapped to reprise their roles as Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in the new “Star Wars” sequels, but their physiques have changed so much since their lightsaber days that the execs in charge of the galaxy far, far away are worried fans will find them unrecognizable. In fact, they’ve given the pair their own personal trainers and nutritionists to help them get back into Jedi shape, according to the Daily Mail.
