The Word: Hang with Kristen Stewart for $2 million an hour

Everyone has a price, even Kristen Stewart. And as a New Yorker, I couldn’t be more pleased that she does.

In a New York Times article on Harvey Weinstein, the film mogul mentions that he managed to line up a Saudi prince who promised to make a sizable donation to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts — if the ”Twilight” star would hang out with him. When Weinstein got in touch with her, she had a question: How much?

Weinstein drove a hard bargain, settling on $500,000, paid in advance. Stewart then agreed to hang out with the prince for 15 minutes.

With hurricane season upon us once again, I call for all our Kristen Stewarts to be on high alert in case they’re needed for some emergency shmoozing — especially since she’ll be busy in the near future.

The “Twilight” star has enrolled in a correspondence course at UCLA, where she plans to study English literature.

“Yes, Kristen’s a Tinseltown actress worth millions, but she is already considering a life after film. She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education,” a source tells the Daily Mirror.
