The Word: ‘Big Bang Theory’ star Kaley Cuoco’s speedy engagement

When I’ve been dating a guy for three months, I’m barely ready to let him tag me in Facebook photos. “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco is already engaged.

The 27-year-old actress, who’s also been linked to her costar Johnny Galecki and, briefly, to Henry “Superman” Cavill, got engaged this week to pro tennis player Ryan Sweet, 26, whom she began seeing around July. ”It’s only been three months but she knows Ryan is the one,” a source close to Kaley told Us Weekly. “When you know, you know.”

I guess one of the ways Kaley knows is that she’s actually willing to talk about Sweet in public. She and Galecki did such a good job of keeping their long relationship secret that no one knew about it until they’d broken up, but Sweet is all over the actress’ social media: “I love u @ryansweething :)” she wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of two penguins walking together. If you’re getting all swoony over penguins, that probably does mean true love.

Speaking of Johnny’s ill-fated romances, Sara Gilbert, cohost of “The Talk” and former “Roseanne” star, said he helped her understand her sexuality. Namely, by making out with her.

“So, some of you may know that when I was a teenager I dated Johnny Galecki for a little while, who played my boyfriend and husband on ‘Roseanne.’ And I thought he was super cute and had a total crush on him and we started dating, and he would come over and we would make out and then I would start to get depressed,” she said on “The Talk.”
