The Word: Watch Naya Rivera go nuts for her brother’s NFL touchdown

I don’t know what it’s like to grow up in the Rivera family, but I imagine sibling rivalry isn’t a huge problem: No need for Mychal Rivera to be jealous of his sister, “Glee” star Naya Rivera, since he himself is now a football player for the Oakland Raiders. Plus it seems like Naya is a super supportive big sis, anyway.

Naya turned up to watch her brother’s Raiders game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday and got to see her baby brother make his first career touchdown. As any good sister would, she (and “Glee” buddy Amber Riley) went nuts. Check it out below.

Unfortunately, though her cheering would impress her “Glee” character, former cheerleader Santana, Naya’s enthusiasm ultimately couldn’t save the Raiders — they went down to the Redskins 24-14.

Singer and actress Demi Lovato will play a potential new girlfriend for Santana on “Glee” this fall. “She’s playing my love interest, so I’m very, very excited about that. We get to sing a song together,” Naya told MTV. She added that Demi makes her debut during a Beatles episode, so it will be a Beatles duet.
