“Pretty Little Liars” star Brant Daugherty is on a break from Rosewood, but he faced some real life peril this week. After a filming of “Dancing With the Stars,” a thief held him up at gunpoint outside his apartment complex.

“After the show I got dropped off and was walking up to my apartment building, and a man followed me up with a gun and told me to give him my stuff,” Daugherty, who earned this week’s highest scores on “Dancing With The Stars” with his partner Peta Murgatroyd, told People. ”It was a complete random occurrence of events and it led up to one of the worst nights of my life – after having such a great night last week on the dance floor.”

Daugherty said the thief made off with workout gear, a pair of dancing shoes, a toothbrush and his cell phone. He jokes that there’s now a thief out there with clean teeth and a passion for dance.

Murgatroyd said Daugherty couldn’t completely laugh the incident off. ”He came in the next morning … and he was so flustered and emotional. I was like, ‘Oh my Lord, he’s had the worst time,’” she said.

Ugh, how awful. Poor guy. At least he’ll have lots of emotions to express on the dance floor, I guess.
