The Word: Eminem’s daughter Hailie is homecoming queen
Eminem never got past the ninth grade (though he tried for three years). But his daughter, Hailie Scott, is not only on track to graduate, she also apparently rules the school.
Hailie, the rapper’s daughter with his ex Kim Scott, was a frequent subject of his music when she was a little girl. She’s 17 now and just got crowned Homecoming Queen of Chippewa Valley High School in her hometown in Michigan.
Hailie’s mother walked out with her for the crowning, but proud papa Mr. Mathers reportedly watched from inside a classroom. “Hailie came out with her mother Kim (Scott) when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene — he wanted Hailie to have her own moment,” a fellow parent told the Macomb Daily.
Aww. It’s always nice to know that the children of rich and famous people are popular too. I would hate to think of them enduring one bit of ordinariness. Not that I’m bitter or anything. My dad’s a professor, so, you know, I was pretty darn popular.
