The gross reason Jennifer Lawrence skipped her ‘Hunger Games’ events

Think about that spectrum of health complaints that only Hollywood starlets get. Exhaustion. Dehydration. How often do you think those are euphemisms for excessive pooping?

Never fear, Jennifer Lawrence is here to remind us in her cheerfully down-to-earth way that stars do, in fact, have human bodies, with all the embarrassing foibles thereof. Like pooping. A lot. Pooping your pants a lot. Hey Jennifer Lawrence, you OK?

Lawrence appeared on David Letterman’s show last night, where she explained why she’d had to skip some recent promotional appearances. “I just had this really bad pain for like three weeks, and you can only s— your pants so many times a day before you have to go to the emergency room,” she blithely told Dave, who looked like he wasn’t sure how to handle her overshare.

So is Jennifer all right? Sounds like probably? She said she underwent an endoscopy and she does not have an ulcer (it’s a “fulcer”). She did, however, have a dream involving a nuclear bomb and the Real Housewives, so probably a pretty good endoscopy overall.
