One Direction’s Liam Payne tweets support for ‘Duck Dynasty’

One Direction’s Liam Payne lives in London at the top of a very tall building. So it’s possible that he hadn’t heard just how controversial “Duck Dynasty,” the silly little reality show about a family that makes duck calls, has become in the United States. He certainly didn’t seem to anticipate any trouble when he tweeted this.

Of course, as we all now know, those “family values” include a candid disgust for homosexuality, at least on the part of patriarch Phil Robertson. But after fans and journalists questioned whether the One Direction star’s tweet meant he shared the “Duck Dynasty” star’s homophobia, Payne lashed out via Twitter.

Who, moi?

And it’s not just “journalists and bloggers” — Payne is also apparently weary of the handlers who keep him PG-rated:

Woof. The members of One Direction have always seemed like nice boys, but no one can be that nice forever, and the cracks are starting to show. If One Direction had a yearbook, Liam would be “Most Likely to Go Full Bieber.”
