Miley Cyrus to Justin Bieber: Pay people to keep you out of trouble

Two widely ridiculed young pop stars. Two identical faces. Two formerly innocent personas grown increasingly edgy. But of the two of them, only Justin Bieber has a mug shot. So what’s Miley Cyrus’ secret? Money, and lots of it.

“You’ve got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don’t get in trouble and party at your house,” Miley advised Justin during an appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night. “Buy a house, and add a club to it.”

The “Bangerz” star knows whereof she speaks: As she points out, despite her party-girl image, she’s never been in trouble with the law. “My fans put all these people’s mugshots up, and they were like, ‘I don’t see a Miley mugshot yet!’ I get the most flak of anybody. I’m not doing anything illegal! I’m doing a lot of s— but I’m not doing anything illegal! So that’s all right. Everything I do is legal in California.”

Right on! Maybe Miley should teach a seminar or something: Avoiding the Downward Spiral 101.”

Of course, Miley’s been giving Justin advice for a while, and it doesn’t seem to be helping. “People don’t take him seriously,” she said back in September. “I just don’t want to see him f— that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, ‘You don’t want to become a joke. When you go out, don’t start s—. Don’t come in shirtless.’ But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he’s really, like 12.”
