Miley Cyrus’s wealth and fame can’t protect her from the heartbreak of being a pet owner. Her dog, Floyd, died on Tuesday, and she took to social media to share her grief.

“Today is the 2nd worst day of my life,” she tweeted, adding, “I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken.”

Poor Miley. No matter what you think of “Bangerz,” anyone who’s ever owned a pet has been there. Miley didn’t say what happened to Floyd, who was an Alaskan Klee Kai, a miniature strain of Alaskan Husky. She may not know the details herself – she’s currently on tour in Boston.

The “Bangerz” star has had a lot of pet-related heartbreak – in December 2012, her rescue dog Ziggy killed her yorkie Lila. Ziggy was subsequently rehomed.

Miley, meanwhile, is so sad over Floyd’s death that part of her wants to follow him to the big dog park in the sky. “I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him,” she tweeted. “This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?”
