Make Your Own Pizza
Forget making pizza at home. How about making your very own pizza with the freshest ingredients under the guidance of a master pizzaiolo? The master pizzaiolo himself, Giulio Adriana is doing just that at his three restaurants throughout New York City.
Adriana will supervise customers in stretching, tossing and topping their pies before they are baked in a 1,000-degree oven. He will be available Mondays at the newly-opened location on 377 Park Avenue South in Gramercy Park; Tuesdays at 485 Lorimer St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; and Wednesdays at 334 Bowery in the East Village.
The two-dozen pizza toppings include meats, such as hot salami, ham, sausage, Prosciutto San Daniele; cheeses like bufala mozzarella, Pecorino, gorgonzola and burrata; seafood such as shrimp and anchovies; as well as vegetables that include mushrooms, zucchini, eggplant, onions, arugula and artichokes. For a luxuriously flavorful touch, truffle oil is available.
Customers will be able to sip artisanal, handcrafted cocktails that were created to complement the flavors of pizza by master barman Dushan Zaric of Employees Only and Macao Trading Co.
