Granary Tavern unveils new lunch and dinner menus for spring season

Celebrate the season with Granary’s spring-influenced dishes

Filled with a variety of starters, soups, salads, sandwiches and flatbreads, the restaurant’s new spring lunch menu is certain to entice afternoon crowds of both the casual and business variety. Whether guests are interested in a cup of Clam Chowder (thyme crème, bacon, potatoes, onions, Old Bay butter – $9), an “Otis” Shrimp Cocktail (jumbo shrimp, horseradish cocktail sauce, citrus remoulade – $14) or a Grilled Asparagus Salad (shaved fennel, frisee, shallots, radishes, lemon vin – $10), there are plenty of ways to start a delicious Granary lunch in just the right fashion.

Beyond the first lunch course, there are several more hearty options from which to choose.

Granary features nine sandwiches, including:

  • an Oyster Po-Boy (fried oysters, remoulade, bibb lettuce on a brioche roll with potato chips – $12),
  • Portobello Confit (roasted pepper, mozzarella, balsamic vin with potato chips – $8).

The Tavern also offers a variety of flatbreads, headlined by the Lamb & Feta (braised Colorado lamb, grilled scallions, parmesan, golden raisin pesto – $13) as well as a handful of main courses, including Shrimp Capellini (green onions, tomatoes, white wine broth – $21).

For dinner, Granary Tavern takes what is best about the new spring lunch menu and amplifies it, adding five more entrees to the guest’s list of choices, highlighted by:

  • Berkshire Pork Loin (mashed yukons,
  • grilled broccoli rabe,
  • house BBQ – $22) and
  • the Vegetable Orecchiette (asparagus, roasted peppers, roma tomatoes, ricotta – $17).

The spring dinner menu also features a handful of snack choices, including :

  • Corn Fried Okra ($5),
  • Harpoon IPA & Cheese Fondue ($6) and
  • Oysters on the Half Shell ($2.25 each).

Granary Tavern is located at 170 Milk Street in Boston’s financial district and is open Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m., and for brunch Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
