Ride n Dine

Ride n Dine

Chestnut Hill Square businesses will come together for the first-ever Ride n’ Dine event to raise money for Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a Boston-based non-profit organization that facilitates the recovery and distribution of healthy, perishable food that would otherwise be discarded.

The afternoon event will kick off at 11:30AM with a 45-minute cycling class at the brand new SoulCycle, the country’s leading studio cycling operator which combines inspirational coaching and great music for an amazing full-body workout. Following the exclusive class, riders will head over to Brio Tuscan Grille for a light afternoon lunch where Lovin’ Spoonfuls founder and Executive Director Ashley Stanley will be joined by a representative from Rosie’s Place, one of the recipients of Lovin’s rescued food, to speak about the importance of their mission.

Currently 1 in 5 Bostonians are classified as food insecure, meaning they don’t know where their next meal will come from. Since founding Lovin’ Spoonfuls, 501(c)(3) non-profit, in 2010, Ashley Stanley and her team have collected more than one million pounds of fresh, healthy food that would otherwise be thrown away, and distributed it at no cost to local soup kitchens, homeless shelters and crisis centers throughout the city including Rosie’s place.

Don’t miss this chance to support one of the area’s fastest growing non-profit organizations with an afternoon of food, fitness and fun! The ride and lunch is $100 per person, and all proceeds from the ride will benefit Lovin’ Spoonfuls.
