Robert Pyles Venezia La Serenissima

Robert Pyle works with black and white photography to capture the light and quiet beauty of Venice. He shares his unique view of the city by conveying the spirit and significance of each location. Pyle allows the viewer to discover the mood, the mystery, and the sometimes hidden beauty of the landscape through his own interpretations. He prints the images using traditional photographic media, silver gelatin and platinum, to enhance the subtleties of light and shadow in the film.

The Copley Society will be hosting the opening reception on Thursday, November 14th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Robert Pyle will be present at the gallery on Saturday, November 16th at 4:30 pm for an exclusive Artist Talk, open to the public. Venezia: La Serenissima will run until December 24, 2013.
