Susan G Komen MA Race for the Cure

Susan G. Komen Massachusetts is proud to present its 21st annual Komen MA Race for the Cure® on September 29, 2013 at Joe Moakley Park in South Boston.

It’s not too late to join us! Register at www.komenmassrace.org/2013 and use the code “13METRO” to receive 10% off registration.

This fitness walk/run is truly a memorable day. The event is a nonprofit fundraising event dedicated to raising dollars to support local breast health programs that cover education, prevention, screening, and treatment while also funding the most promising research on the national level.  Komen MA is proud to say that 75% of revenue raised through this event stays right here in Massachusetts and is directed towards our local mission – community health, focused on 100% screening, 100% access to care, and 100% follow-up.

Last year we experienced more requests for grant funding than we were able to fulfill. Meaning that there is a need for breast health services throughout Massachusetts and that we must band together and ensure the need is met.

Help us raise much-needed funds that will help residents in our very own communities throughout the Commonwealth. Be a part of something special.

Registration is from 6-7:45 a.m. The race starts at 8 a.m.
