FBI Director James Comey will head to Boston College next week as the keynote speaker on a cyber security forum.

Comey's appearance on March 8 is for the inaugural Boston Conference on Cyber Security (BCCS), co-hosted by the college, which offers a master's degree in cybersecurity policy and policy, and the FBI, Boston Magazine reported.

Comey received ire from both Republicans and Democrats during the 2016 election, for not recommending charges against presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for her private email server use, and then for opening a second investigation into Clinton's emails two weeks before Election Day.

Appointed by former President Barack Obama in 2013, Comey will remain at his post under President Donald Trump.
