Four people have been indicted in a grisly murder in Marshfield, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Michael Moscaritolo, 32, of Quincy, Mark O’Brien, 40, of South Boston, James Ferguson, 40, of Dorchester and Lauren Kalil, 31, of Quincy were indicted on murder, buglary, robbery and gun charges, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Marshfield Police said they received a 911 call on Sept. 16 reporting the death of 45- year-old Robert McKenna, who was discovered in his home on Damon’s Point Road by a friend. McKenna was face up on his kitchen floor in his underwear with several slash wounds on his upper arm, both hands and the back of his head. According to Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz’ office, McKenna suffered “a massive loss of blood.”

Footprints, cell phone records, gloves and several items of clothing lead investigators to the four suspects, prosecutors said.

The DA said that each suspect made a series of incriminating statements to witnesses about their involvement robbery-turned-homicide.

The four will be arraigned in Plymouth Superior Court at a later date.
