The annual Pops + fireworks extravaganza officially starts at 8:30 p.m. for the concert, but we all know you can’t get there that late. Gates open at 9 a.m., with a special new edition to the forbidden items list: You officially cannot bring a drone with you.

Pops concert not for you? Celebrate America’s birthday dancing the night away aboard the yacht Provincetown II. Complete with a cash bar and a live DJ for your entertainment, the cruise goes out July 3 and July 4, so you have two chances to indulge. Meet the yacht by 6:30 p.m. at 200 Seaport Blvd in South Boston. It sails at 7:00 p.m. Admission starts at $40, and tickets are available on eventbrite.com.
