Free bouquets of flowers in Downtown Crossing Wednesday

Looks like Downtown Crossing will have a little more flower power this Wednesday.

Roche Bros. is teaming up with the Petal It Forward Campaign to hand out 1,700 free bouquets to passersby from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The only stipulation? The campaign requests you give one of the two gifted bouquets to a “friend, family member, co-worker, or even a complete stranger who could use a smile.”

The grocery store is teaming up with retailers in 207 cities in 49 states to pass out the pairs of flowers, according to a statement from the retailer.

You can grab the flowers outside of Roche Bros on Summer Street in Downtown Crossing.
