Robert Griffin III was cleared for contact Tuesday and may return to the playing field for the Cleveland Browns soon.

That was the second biggest piece of news surrounding RGIII on Tuesday as he got into a weird Twitter beef with someone pretending to be his wife. RGIII and his wife have been separated for months.

Someone pretending to be Rebecca Griffin (@rgriffin88) tweeted out, “I was there for you. We have a family together and you lied to me since the beginning! Hitting up girls on IG is not a good husband! @RGIII

“You pretend to be this great person but you cheated on me and tried to pretend it was over between us. You brought this on yourself. @RGIII

“Now you have your new slut @GSadeiko while I take care of our daughter! I can’t believe I trusted you and thought things would change @RGIII.”

Griffin and his girlfriend, Grete Sadeiko, seem as though they thought the account was real as they professed their love for one another while the story was blowing up online.

“I love you baby @RGIII,” @GSadeiko tweeted to Griffin.

“I love you too @GSadeiko,” Griffin tweeted.

Griffin also tweeted, “A lie will get half way around the world before the truth.”

And finally, “That account attacking my family was fake and none of what was said was true. Whoever did it, you messed with the wrong one.”

Sadeiko is quickly rising to fame, mainly due to her relationship with the Browns’ quarterback. But Sadeiko is also known quite well on the track and field circuit as she is currently competing in the ACC for the Florida State Seminoles. Her sister, Grit Sadeiko, is a heptathlete like Grete and has competed in the Olympics for the family’s native country of Estonia.
