Investigation continues into bomb device found in Milton home

Authorities are still investigating a bomb scare in Milton after police found a device rigged to explode if a certain light switch was turned on inside a Craig Street home.

The device was found Tuesday afternoon; a bomb squad disarmed device and no one was injured.

Milton Police Chief Richard Wells told The Boston Globe an electrician found an improvised explosive device – a plastic jug full of accelerant and wired to explode when a light switch was flipped.

WBZ reportshomeowner Lindel Williams suspects former tenants might be responsible for the planting the device, although no arrests have been made.
