After plummeting 40 feet onto the concrete below, an iron-worker suffered life-threatening injuries after falling onto a platform at a Logan Airport construction site. The man was immediately taken to Mass. General Hospital.
Police said he was working on a parking garage near the Hilton Hotel when something went wrong at about 7:45 a.m. on Friday.
Police told CBS Boston that the “preliminary investigation indicates he fell approximately 40 feet onto a concrete form that had also fallen.” According to CBS Boston and the police, the man is from Connecticut; however, his name has not been made public yet. Noother information is available at this point in the investigation.
