"I find that a chest of drawers sells much better when you remove the mirror and sell it as a separate piece. So, I end up with a lot of orphaned mirrors. I chose to paint these as a collection because the multiple styles and colors make a strong artistic statement when hung together. The fact that these particular mirrors had some beautiful detail just made the entire project even more fun," says Blair. For this one, she 1) Removed the long attachment pieces from the back of the mirror so that the mirror would have a nice straight line on the bottom 
2) Wood-filled the holes  3) Applied Knack custom green paint in latex. (This is a color that she mixed, and have named it Esme Green after the first piece she used it on.)
4) Lightly sanded and finished the surface in a brown wax
