The Hub Crawl: Addai to sign with Pats, Sox slumping again

Joseph Addai is expected to sign with the Patriots.

Former 1,000-yard rusher and Indianapolis Colt running back Joseph Addai is set to sign with the Patriots, according to multiple reports Saturday.

Red Sox: The Red Sox dropped their fourth straight game Saturday, the latest loss coming to the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park, 8-2.
Spot-starter Aaron Cook got through five batters unharmed, but things quickly unraveled for the veteran. He was spiked at home plate, which resulted in Cook momentarily leaving the game to get bandaged up.
Cook worked 2.2 innings, allowing six earned runs on eight hits. Baltimore had an 8-0 lead by the third inning, due in large part to home runs by Mark Reynolds and Adam Jones.

Horse Racing: I’ll Have Another won the 138th Kentucky Derby Saturday at Churchill Downs, edging favorite Bodemeister. Trainer Doug O’Neill won for the first time at the Derby and Mario Gutierrez was the winning jockey.
