Ray Allen’s decision down to Heat, Celtics and Brandon Bass re-signs

It looks as though Ray Allen will either be joining the world champion Heat or re-signing with the Celtics.

The Los Angeles Clippers cancelled a Friday meeting with Allen after signing guards Jamal Crawford and Chauncey Billups and are now believed to be out of the running for the all-time 3-point shooting leader.

In other Celtics news, Boston has reportedly re-signed free agent Brandon Bass for three years. Bass averaged a career-best 12.5 ppg last season and was a starter at power forward through the majority of the 2011-12 the season.

The Celtics could also still fit free agent forward Jeff Green under the salary cap even if Allen is re-signed.
